Hear the night. Keep it private.
Snora records while you sleep, then lines up the moments that sound like possible snoring, strongest first. Play any of them, or the whole night, and tap “Not snoring” when it was really the fan. The night recalculates without it.
Recorded and analyzed on your iPhone. No account. The App Store privacy label reads “Data Not Collected”.
Your bedroom audio is never uploaded, and there is no advertising or analytics SDK in the app. You can delete one night, or everything, from inside Snora.
New in Snora 1.3
- Keep a night. Tap Keep, the star at the top of a morning’s Replay, and that night’s recording is never cleared automatically. Free keeps up to three nights this way; Premium keeps as many as you like.
- Review last night on the Tonight screen reopens last night’s Replay, for when you were out the door before you’d finished listening.
- Recording starts more reliably on some iPhones running iOS 26.4, where the microphone could fail to start.
- A shorter free window for new installs. Snora now keeps the audio of your three newest nights free. If you installed Snora before 1.3, nothing changes: you keep seven.
How a night works
- Before bed. Tap Start listening and leave the iPhone nearby, screen down and plugged in. Stop it when you get up.
- In the morning. The Replay opens with a short recap of the night in plain English, written on the phone. Under it are the moments that sound like possible snoring, ranked. Play one. If it was the radiator ticking or your partner turning over, tap “Not snoring”: it drops out and the night recalculates. Or scrub the whole night back to 3am and hear it for yourself. If it’s a night worth holding on to, say the loud one you want to play to your partner, tap the Keep star.
- Across nights. Log what was different, one tap each: side sleeping, no alcohol, a nasal strip. Once five comparable nights exist, the Snore Score appears. It is measured against your own nights, not anyone else’s. Premium compares your nights with and without a factor and labels the result as an observed pattern, never advice or proof of cause.
What Snora won’t tell you
Some snoring gets missed and some room sounds get counted, which is why every moment is yours to play and correct. The peak level is relative to your phone’s microphone, not calibrated decibels, so compare nights recorded with the phone in the same place.
A quiet list is not proof that nothing happened. If someone has heard you choke or gasp in your sleep, or you’re sleepy all day however long you sleep, talk to a doctor.
